The full title of the Ili general was

是1762年乾隆皇帝设立的。
The office was set up by Emperor
Qianlong in 1762.
在历史上有57个人担任过这个职位。
Altogether 57 men held the position
in history.

The former city of Huiyuan
就是第一任伊犁将军组织建造的。
was built by the first General of Ili.
