　　It is pronounced Tao Tie.

　　您看 这两个字下面都有一个食字

　　Look, these two characters both

　　have the character Shi in the lower part,

　　就说明跟吃有关

　　so they must relate to eating.

　　In the ancient Chinese legend,

　　是一种贪吃的野兽

　　Tao Tei is a greedy beast,

　　现在常常用来形容那种经常大吃大喝的人

　　and now it is used to describe

　　voracious eaters.

　　原来是这样 那这个词呢

　　这个词读耄耋

　　It is pronounced Mao Die.

　　您看 这两个字上面都有一个老字

　　You will notice there is a character Lao

　　in the upper part of both characters.

　　就说明跟年龄有关

　　This shows it relates with age.

　　This term is used to refer to
