Starbucks announced a 1.5 million US dollar donation to train schoolteachers in China. The US coffee retail chain is using corporate social responsibility to raise its profile in China, where it believes it will be its number 1 growth market. BizChina caught with the Chairman of Starbucks, Howard Schultz and talked to him about the donation, as well as the hurdles in selling coffee to a nation of tea drinkers.
