Jacqueline Chen is an anchor and stock markets editor for CCTV International's signature business news program "BizChina". During the day, Jacqueline covers the news and provides insight on China鈥檚 stock markets for the network.
Jacqueline began her career as an IT Specialist, designing large scale banking systems. She has worked as a consultant for several multinational companies, including IBM and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. During her work in the IT industry, Jacqueline applied her engineering knowledge into the world of business, from fixing the 鈥楳illennium Bug鈥 to ensuring business continuity after the 9-11 incident.
Before joining CCTV in Beijing, Jacqueline worked in London and Hong Kong. In London, Jacqueline founded her own IT consultancy company, providing IT and consultancy services to numerous multinational clients.
She graduated from the University of Leeds, England, with a combined degree in Physics and Computer Science. Jacqueline grew up in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.
