A: 鈥滀竴鈥漣s pronounced in the first tone. But 鈥滀竴鈥漣s pronounced in the second tone before a syllable in the fourth tone or a syllable in the neutral tone reduced from the fourth tone, eg:鈥滀竴涓漣s pronounced as鈥測铆g猫鈥, not 鈥測墨g猫鈥. And when 鈥滀竴鈥漰recedes a syllable in the first, second and third tone, it will be pronounced as鈥測矛鈥,eg: 鈥滀竴澶┾漣s pronounced as 鈥測矛ti膩n鈥, not 鈥測墨ti膩n鈥
鈥滀笉鈥漣s pronounced in the fourth tone. But鈥滀笉鈥漣s pronounced in the second tone before a syllable in the fourth tone or a syllable in the nertral tone reduced from the fourth tone, eg:鈥滀笉璋⑩漣s pronounced as鈥渂煤xi猫鈥, not鈥渂霉xi猫鈥.
