Introduction to Jonny Johnson

Johnny Johnson (JJ) is a Canadian, who has enjoyed living and working in China for 5 years.
Before Joining CCTV International, where he is heard and seen regularly on Rediscovering China, Nature & Science and Around China, he was an On-Air TV Presenter, Writer and Senior Production Consultant for 4 years with the Shanghai Broadcasting Network (STV) Shanghai.
He has appeared in over 20 movies produced in China and traveled widely in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and China.
鈥淛J鈥 was a senior Producer-Director with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, English Network, in Toronto, Canada. He also worked for the Canadian Television Network, (CTV) as a Producer, Director and Writer. He has been a Foreign Correspondent, covering Northern, Western and Eastern Europe for a Canadian newspaper and TV station.
Johnny has covered stories, written and traveled extensively throughout Canada, USA, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Capital Institute of Technology (CIT), Washington, D.C. with an Applied Arts Degree in Communications and Television Operations.
鈥淛J鈥 was born in England and began his broadcast career with BBC Radio鈥檚 鈥淥verseas Service,鈥 in London.
