Introduction to Nathaniel John Jones

The son of a missionary couple working in Ghana as linguists and doctors, Nathan grew up with his three brothers and sister in a remote jungle region where electricity was unknown and tribal drum dances and ancestral worship songs filled many a night.
At the age of 12 in 1991, Nathan鈥檚 family moved back to the United States where his parents pursued their masters degrees in linguistics and family and marriage counseling in Los Angles California.
During his high school years, Nathan immersed himself in extracurricular activities including the Swim, WaterPolo, and Soccer, teams. Joined the Marching band as a drummer and took the lead role in School Musical theatre. An anti-drug commercial produced by D.A.R.E. was Nathan鈥檚 first appearance on TV. Distinguishing himself with the prestigious sole role of an exaggerated yelling mouth.
From High school through university studies and after, Nathan balanced his time between educational studies and full time jobs. As a result, his range of industry experience includes positions at the Center for International Trade Development in California, World Vision International, J&M Attorneys at Law and the U.S. department of Agriculture. Through all his experiences however, primary interest was always on the development and effective delivery of messages to an audience.
Having worked in Chinese media for over two years since ending his studies at Beijing Normal University, Nathan feels honored and excited to be working with the CCTV9 Rediscovering production team and hosting for the program.

Host of Music Time, children鈥檚 program
Music Time represents one of the first international efforts to bring quality English programming to children in China. A cooperative effort between Canadian and domestic partners, Music Time introduces new English vocabulary and phrases through the learning and enjoyment of colorful original children鈥檚 songs.
Host of reality TV series Mission Possible
Broadcast on over 60 stations nationally and resulting in the production of branded print materials and establishment of more than 20 franchise English learning institutes, Mission Possible continues to achieve it鈥檚 core Mission. In addition to acting as the face of Mission Possible on TV, Nathan also performs in live shows and tours that have been held from Harbin in the North to Fuzhou in the south.
