 Today we will continue our panel discussion on Zhang Yimou’s latest hit “Hero.” Despite the huge commercial success, the press seem to be quite critical of both Zhang and his movie. Some articles accuse Zhang Yimou of being a copy cat. Others point out that he has gone too far in using colors. Zhang Yimou, who used to be very popular with the movie critics, sounds very defensive when he accused the media of lacking serious and professional knowledge when they examined his movies. The cross fire has set the Internet a blaze and looks like to continue.
