Ghana, as an African country, produces cocoa, gold, and tropical timber. It also produces an outstanding international politician, Mr. Kofi Annan, general secretary of United Nations. China’s diplomatic relation with Ghana was severed during the Cold War, but renewed in 1972. To strengthen the relationship, Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor, president of the Republic of Ghana paid a weekly official visit to China.|
