Germany have pinned their hopes of reaching the final of the 2002 World Cup on top striker and scorer Miuroslav Klose.
Klose, who headed in five goals in Germany's three group matches, has gone scoreless in the last two matches. But his goals are desperately needed if the Germans want to reach the final.
Klose is strong in air and the German team counts a lot on it in Tuesday's semifinal match against hosts South Korea.
Klose missed several clear scoring chances in the second round match against Paraguay and hit the post in the quarterfinal against the United States.
"It's annoying to have missed that chance but I am not worried," Klose said of the missed opportunity in the quarterfinal. "But the main thing is that we are through."
"I didn't get enough balls. But if we play strongly again down the flanks on both sides, I am going to get more balls and more chances," he said.
