German goalkeeper Oliver Khan Sunday said the Spaniards themselves were partly to be blame for the quarterfinal defeat to South Korea.
"Spain, were too obsessed with what they perceived as wrong decisions by the referee and it worked against them in the end." Khan told a press conference at the German training camp in Seogwipo.
Spain had two goals disallowed by Egyptian referee Gamal Ghandour during Saturday's clash with the co-hosts team and got furious at the decisions after losing 5-3 on the penalty shoot-out.
Kahn said they would not be effected even if referees make unjust decisions in the semifinal game on Tuesday.
"We will not be affected by such a factor." said the 33-year-old goalkeeper.
"I look forward to the level of officiating that suits a semifinal match. I believe the referees will make fair decisions. Even if we should face unjust decisions, we would never dwell on them for too long during the game." he added.
