Germany will not be affected by the overwhelming support of home crowd for South Koreain Tuesday's semifinal clash, Germany assistant coach Michael Skibbe said in Seogwipo on Sunday.
"Our players are delighted to be playing in a stadium filled with passionate crowds. Such an atmosphere is not negative at all and it will have positive effects on us too." said Skibbe, who watched Saturday's quarterfinals between Spain and South Korea which ended in a 5-3 victory on penalties for the co-hosts.
It is believed that extraordinary cheers for South Korea from home fans has contributed to the team's continuous shock wins.
Skibbe also said they he was confident that the Germans are going to win in the semifinal match.
"Our goal is to reach the final in Yokohama and we will get there." he said.
