Following are quotes from the World Cup quarter-final match between Spain and South Korea in which the co-hosts won a penalty shoot-out 1-0 after a goalless 120 minutes:
South Korea coach Hiddink
On today's win: I cannot describe how I'm feeling. I'm so happy for the boys who fought until the end. I think more dreams have come true now.
On his expectations going forward: If you don't mind, first, I'd like to have a little glass of champagne and celebrate first. What comes tomorrow is tomorrow, not now. The mentality of this team to recover even when it gets tougher and tougher, it's so outrageous, almost without limit. I'm so proud of these boys.
Spain coach Camacho:
On the game: It was a difficult game... too bad that we lost. We have worked hard and fought our best, but the other team had more luck. Congratulations to the Korean team for their victory.
From Iker Casillas:
On how he feels: Like all the other players...very sad, but we did a good job. When playing games to advance into the higher stages, a team can lose and that is what happened to us.
On the referee: We knew what we'd get from the referee looking at the games Korea played with Portugal, Italy and the US. This isn't quite what we expected, but it is possible that referees make mistakes form time to time. And also...it's true that we didn't take full advantage of the chances given to us.
On his outstanding play in the game: We've all worked very hard, staying here in Korea for almost a month. We were just a step away from advancing, but since this is what we got... we'll have to wait another four years.
