The Brazilian national soccer team Tuesday arrived at the Japanese city of Hamamatsu where it will stay prior to its quarterfinals match against England.
Hundreds of fans warmly welcomed the Brazilian team at the train station.
Living in the Hamamatsu region, south of Tokyo, are 12,000 Brazilians of Japanese ascent, who went in search of work at the local industry.
The Brazilian community in Hamamatsu is so large that such infrastructure including Brazilian cuisine restaurants and Portuguese-speaking schools, had been set up to meet the special needs of people with particular ethnic living styles.
