Ronaldo Says Every Match Going to be Final

Delighted Brazil's ace striker Ronaldo said after his side beat Belgium 2-0 in the World Cup second round here on Monday evening that from now on, every match is going to be a final.

Ronaldo, who scored the second goal to seal Brazil's victory over Belgium, said: "The Cup starts now, every match is going to be a final. We must think about England. I think the match against England is going to be better because they play better football."

Brazil will take on England in their quarter-finals on Friday, which will be no doubt the most eye-catching clash for a place in the semi-finals.

Ronaldo, who had been out of soccer games for two and a half years through serious injuries, made a brilliant return and scored in every match since the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup finals kicked off on May 31. Together with Germany's striker Miroslav Klose, Ronaldo, who collected four goals in the 1998 World Cup finals, is topping the list of scorers at this World Cup with five goals.
