Two hundred members of Chinese "Qiumi" (soccer fans) cheer squad arrived in South Korea Sunday after they traveled across China on motorcycles.
The Qiumi soccer worshippers began the travel using 10 motorbikes in April praying for the survival of Chinese and South Korean teams in the first round of the World Cup finals and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties.
The Chinese motorcyclists are scheduled to join other Qiumis in Gwangju Tuesday to cheer their country's World Cup opener against Costa Rica.
The motorbike squad will return home around Thursday after holding joint events designed to pray for South Korea and China's advance to the second round of the finals.
