A French women in love with Guangxi, south China

Fang Fang was a tour guide of a World Travel Agency in Paris, France. She had traveled many places in the world. Three years ago, she came as the Chinese interpreter on the frontiers in a Miao Autonomous county.

She fell in love with the place, so she settled down here. This Miao Autonomous county is located at northern part of Guangxi in China. For hundreds of years, the rolling mountains have obstructed local people's contact with the outside world.

The region has colorful ethnic customs, and many of the traditional convictions aroused interest in Fangfang. She often went from village to village to collect information about their customs and history.

Fangfang loved the fairy-land-like place. She often wondered why local people have convictions that they don’t send girls to school. When she came to understand that it was because of financial problems in the families, she was more sympathetic with the girls.

Fangfang herself is a mother of two girls. Fang Fang loved the pure and innocent nature of the local children. She’s always happy when she is together with the children.
