小白猫叫小贝，生来很弱小。他被小男孩捡到，又被丢在草原上。但他凭着“我能行”的意志，开始了找到回家道路的流浪。小贝碰到过想吃他的老狼和大花蛇，也碰到了帮助他的小刺猬和蟾蜍，还和小兔多多成了好朋友。小贝凭着“我能行”的信念，闯过了洪水、雪崩等大难关，战胜了狐狸、青鼬、雪貂、恶狼，也得到猞猁大花、龟爷爷、鼯鼠飞飞、小鹿点点等朋友们的帮助。特别是和猎人周旋，终于见到了妈妈和哥哥小宝。弱小的小白猫长成了威武高大的“小豹子”。

White kitty Bei is abandoned by a naughty boy at a remote prairie and there begins his adventure in search of a way back home.On his extraordinary journey home, danger lurks beyond every turn. He meets fierce wolf and greedy snake. But little hedgehog and frog help him out of the cut-throat things. Bei even makes a good friend with a rabbit Dot-Dot.
It takes courage and faith to tackle the flood, snow slide and he comes out finding his mom and brother. And kitty Bei has grown up a tall and strong cat.
